Acknowledges

Good results have given us a great pleasure. The choir has been awarded with honour certificates and medals of the Estonian SSR and other fraternal republics. In 1974 Tartu Boys Choir was awarded with the honorary title of the People’s Collective. The choir is ELKNÜ 1984. laureate of art prize.

1985 1st place and gold medal at Primorsk Youth Collective Festival in Bulgaria.
1986 Honorary title of Estonian SSR from the Presidium of the Supreme Council.
1989 1st place at the Limeric Church Music Festival in Ireland.
1993 4th place at Lindelholzhausen International Choral Festival in Germany.
1997 3rd place at EMLS boys and men’s choir competition in Tallinn.
1998 4th place at Kalundborg International Choir Festival in Denmark.
2000 Golden diploma in skirmish and silver medal in final heat of boys mixed choir class at the first World Choral Olympics in Linz (Austria). 342 choirs from 60 countries participated in the Choral Olympics.
2003 2nd place at EMLS boys and men’s choir competition in Tallinn.
2004 Golden diploma in skirmish and silver medal in final heat of boys mixed choir class at 3rd World Choral Olympics in Bremen (Germany). 345 choirs from all continents took part from 26 categories in Choral Olympics.
2006 At the national song contest of boys and men’s choirs organised by EMLS, we were awarded 1st place among 3-voice boys choirs.
2007 Tartu Boys Choir was awarded the 1st choir category by the Estonian Choral Association.
2010 Gold medal at the International Cleric Choir Music Contest in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
2011 Estonian Choral Association “Choir of the Year 2010” laureate.
2013 2nd place in the category of concert choirs at the 7th Estonian National Boys Choir Competition in Tartu.
2013 1st place in the children’s choir category at the 7th Estonian National Boys Choir Competition in Tartu.
2015 Golden diploma at the 6th Krakow Advent and Christmas Song Contest in Poland.
2017 Golden diploma at the 12th Bratislava International Advent and Christmas Song Contest in Slovakia.
